"205th Avenue from Baseline Road to Quatama Street map"The 205th Avenue Project, between Baseline Road and Quatama Street, was funded for design only through the Major Streets Transportation Improvement Program, MSTIP 3e.

Design started in September 2022 and was paused while funding was reevaluated in FY 2023-24. The design was less than 60% complete when the project was put on hold.

Design resumed in 2024 with remaining funds from MSTIP 3e, MSTIP 3f and the Transportation Development Tax (TDT) for design, right-of-way acquisition and construction.

205th Avenue is a two-lane street with no dedicated bike lanes. The 205th Avenue bridge over Beaverton Creek is narrow and weight restricted.

The design for this project includes:

  • Replacing the 205th Avenue bridge over Beaverton Creek
  • 2-3 lanes wide (two lanes with a center turn lane where needed)
  • Bike lanes
  • Sidewalks
  • Retaining walls
  • Streetlights
  • Improved stormwater drains and treatment facilities

This open house reviews the 60% project design with two bike-and-pedestrian alternatives.
